ok what software do u use to maintain your PC and why...

CCleaner - deleting cookys and temp files speads up my computer

memory cleaner - freeing up RAM often i open and close loads of files and this frees up wasted Ram

defrager - defragments my hard drive

nortan 360 - internet security

Ccleaner is basically all I use for my computers.

ESET Smart Security is my protection suite and O&O Defrag my HDD defrag program. I only run these once in awhile though.

It's a shame that more games and applications aren't ported for Linux. But I suppose that if they were, more viruses and malware would be ported for Linux as well...

Well, Macs do get a few viruses and games are being ported to them. The problem lies about the complexity of both Unix and Linux kernels, being a completely different model altogether. Windows is all integrated, despite having a modular design, while Linux and Unix are completely modular and the kernels can be modded.

That's probably why not all distros can run a game that works on one compared to another.

There are AVs for them too, in case people asked...

oh! there's also a spyware terminator.

None, just regular Disk Defrag to keep files in order on HD and the odd cache files clean up.

Sometimes I check my registry files.
