Google Chrome Shortcut Problem

Hello.

I have noticed that the Desktop shortcut name of Google Chrome has randomly and fairly frequently been changing to random things such as "h" or "nk". The most recent change though was "marsh". I do not know why this has been happening and I am concerned about whether this may be a security issue such as my PC being hacked. Also, the computer clock is constantly changing too which may or may not be related to the shortcut name issue.

Please advise.

Run a virus scan.

Well, not just a virus scan though. Install Spybot and run a malware scan as well.

yeah, sounds like malware...

Try running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It catches a lot of bad stuff and it's free...

Anyone else use you computer? Any chance you somehow click on it and rename it while you think you are typing somewhere else? Got a cat that climbs on the keyboard?
