I have a 90Gb SSD (formatted size 83.8Gb)

It says i have used 50.2 Gb
but when everything in C: is selected it only totals 21.1

this means i have 30(ish) gigs of data that i have no knowledge off?

help? the SSD was about 90 pound, so its like loosing £30.

i no when you buy any hard drive or memory card or what every your never going to get whats stated....

your missing 30GB some could be hidden files maybe curupeded parts of the drive but 30gb still sounds alot.

im looking at a ssd what make is your one by the way

OCZ Agility Ebuyerhave it at £20 off, i dont mind paying a pound a gig, seams reasonable compared to there normal cost, it rates 7.9 on Windows Experience index.

Its a good drive, just disappointing to see 30 Gb Disappear.

OCZ 120GB Vertex 3 SSD 2.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Read 550MB/s Write 500MB/s 85,000 IOPS Is Good, 85000 IOPS is the important part. 135£ Random Write 4KB: 60,000 IOPS
OCZ 120GB Agility 3 SSD this to has 85000 IOPS 115£ Random Write 4KB: 50,000 IOPS
Corsair 120GB Force 3 SSD also 85000 IOPS 115£ but no Random IOPS Figure

So the one you chose is the best drive here, however you could save £20 and just loose Random IOPS of 10,000 :/ its up to you...

and yeh - if i carnt find any information, its going back, becasue 30Gb is alot of space...

ya i was going with the OCZ vertex because the agility and corsair force both had the sandforce controller in witch can be fualty in the 1st models so was leaning on the safe side.

I was reading up on it, and i see that it should be left on, but is this what is taking up my 30Gb or should i send it back?
