Building desktop. Help

Hi. I am want to build my own desktop and i need some advice on hardware
Would these be able to go together:
320GB SATA 3.5" SATA DESKTOP INTERNAL HARD DISK DRIVE
Biostar T-Series TZ68A+ Socket 1155 Motherboard Lucid
LG 22x Internal IDE DVD/CD/DL Writer/Drive/Burner
Intel Core i3-2100 LGA1155 CPU 3.10Ghz, 3Mb Cache, 65w
8GB (2 x 4GB) Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8G Memory RAM

I am a complete noob at this stuff so i really need your help.

The DVD burner will not work because it is IDE and the board has no IDE ports. You need a SATA DVD burner.
