So im planning on buying a gaming pc. These are the pieces I have chosen :

  • AMD FX 6100 3,3GHz
    4x2 GB DDR3 RAM 1600 MHz (Kingston 2GB DDR3 Hyperx khx1600c9) : edit : G.Skill DDR3 1600 Mhz 4 x 2GB RipjawsZ
    AMD/ATI Radeon 6950 2GB (Seagate BARRACUDA 750GB 7200RPM 32MB)
    Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
    750GB 7200RPM 32MB HDD (Seagate BARRACUDA)
    Chieftec ATX 650W : edit : Corsair TXV2 ATX 2.31 650W

I am wondering if all these parts go together well and if the graphics card is OK for this setup. I want to run games like BF3 at ultra graphics without any lag. Maybe the card is overkill?

Thanks for the help :thumb:

You can save a few bux by going with G.Skill RAM instead of Kingston - they're also some of the most highly rated RAM out there right now.

Also, don't skimp on the power supply. I know Chieftec isn't bargain bin, but it's also not a Corsair, Seasonic or even an Antec. Don't cheap your system out with something like that.

OK, ill change the RAM to this instead :

G.Skill DDR3 1600 Mhz 4 x 2GB RipjawsZ

Any more suggestions ?
