guys just built a new pc, so heres what i have done.

new 1000 watt p supply
veloca rapter wd 150 hard drive - no pin in the drive setting
sky sata hard drive 320gb - no settings
2 ide transports
1 ide drive 150g
1 ide drive 120g
new cables
agp his 4670
asus mb n78 something deluxe
new cpu barton amd cpu 3200+
ram 3g new

so it shows me the on light and the hard drive light, it recognises all of the 6 units when connected, you can adjust all the bios side which i tried to get right, the moniter only connects to the graphic card no vga input at all. so the screen gets past bios recognises ram, drives,, satas,, ide,s.

ok so whats the problem it reads an xp disc and then gets to( ready to startup windows) and nothing:eek:. i have never ever seen this whats the issue????????????/:confused:

respects raju

is it a sas drive that you're trying to install onto?

if it is...
when windows xp was made (back at the start of the millennium) sas wasn't even really a dream, therefore there are no inbuilt support with standard XP (no SP CD).

you need to slipstream SP3 onto your installation media
