Will My Old Monitor Work??

Hi all, a couple days ago my family computer that we had for about 6 years died and we are looking to purchase a new one. However, the monitor we have still works fine and would like to keep using it because we just don't want to have to buy as new monitor as well. I am scared though because it is an old monitor. Its like 6 years old and is a dell E193FP monitor. Do monitors become outdated and unusable? Or will this monitor still work fine with any new desktop I bought. Thanks for the help

Should be fine. I have the Gateway equivalent of that monitor and I still use it to this day. There are adapters out there in case the monitor doesn't have the right kind of connection to whatever PC you buy, so I wouldn't worry about it.
