i had heater too close to desktop and many lots of the plastic melted

most of the parts on the out side of the desktop, like all the plastic around the cd player and such basically melted or warped on my xps 8300 and was wondering where a good place to buy online or if anyone had any of these spare parts they may be able to sell thru paypal... just wondering how expnesive these part are... thanks

Looks like you just learned not to put a case right next to a heater Lesson learned for you I guess.
By the looks of it, it looks like you can buy a 3rd party case for it. Does the system work still?
