Niiko101's possible new build

Not at all bad! I need that CPU to be honest, but that is well expensive at the moment!!!
Why not opt for a 4 core i7 and save yourself... well... around $800

You are throwing a lot of money into a rig that has components that haven't really been tested. I would hate to see you be a guinea pig for the x79, because imo it's a waste, but it looks like any kind of a budget isn't a problem for you and you will have plenty of money for Q1 upgrades when Ivy Bridge comes along.

The rig itself looks very nice...a bit over the top for a gaming rig imo, but very nice specs.

yes, ivy bridge is comming out and im going to wait to see what they have to offer, the rig itself is not just for gaming, its for everything, plus a little show off built for clients to show what is possible with the right ammount of money.
also if you look at my other threads, i have a gaming rig, so this one wont be used much for gaming. its more of a benchmarking, video photo editing and as listed above.
