A few things, the i7 2600K is not on the supported processor list for that board. You also cant put the 24gb of RAM you've specified above, the board only supports upto 16gb... and you seem to be missing a PSU?

You might want to have a look for an alternative board... and a power supply...

Teris is right, also your just going to use an SSD by it self ? no storage drive, also why do you need 24GB of RAM ?

EDIT: 1156 and 1155 ARE TWO DIFFERENT SOCKETS, they will not fit eachother the processor will not fit that motherboard !

sorry i just noticed that you listed a 1156 motherboard and a 1155 CPU, they will not work with eachother you need a LGA 1155 MOTHERBOARD, Also personaly i wouldnt go with corsair Hydro series, There to noisey, if noise bothers you like it does me, go for something else. There are better coolers that are cheaper, quieter and do a better job of cooling the CPU

  • No reason for 24GB of RAM unless you're doing very intensive 3D Modeling or video work. Most users won't use more than 8GB these days, and even that's pushing it
  • Power supply missing
  • Motherboard incompatible with your processor, don't use Socket 1156 at all, it's a dead platform
  • Why a GTX 590? Unless you're using a very large monitor with a very high resolution, you will be better served by the GTX 580, or even a GTX 570.
  • If you're making the SSD the primary drive in addition to storage, a 256GB SSD is fine, if not pricey. Don't let others tell you that you need both if you can afford an SSD that large.
  • Aftermarket heatsinks are only necessary if you plan on overclocking above a certain threshold.
Recommendations:

  • Get a 16GB RAM kit at most, if you're worried about it. 8GB should be fine, 16GB is a bit overkill still
  • Look into a high quality power supply, and if you keep the GTX 590, make sure the PSU is at least 850 watts, and don't cheap out on it. Expect to spend almost $160-$200 for a high end unit
  • You need a Socket 1155 motherboard, not 1156 as was mentioned.

Think you could help me build one? Im new to this, id like to keep the pricepoint between 1000-2000, id probably want to get a SSD as well as another drive for storing music/videos and stuff.. I probably wont be overclocking the computer so cooler probably doesnt need to be very high end... 16gb of ram would be nice, because i multitask a lot, and im running a 33" monitor, and if i get the sound working on my tv with the cpu hooked up to it, up to 102" so i think i want to keep the 590... Again, you probably know a lot more than me sooo ill let you do whatever :D

Thanks, and sorry if this is confusing im tired and hungry...

and if you still want a aftermarket cooler

Cooler Marster V8 $50 : Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler Intel Core i7 compatible

Total $2177 USD or $2227 USD with aftermarket cooler, it was hard to keep in the $1000 - $2000 price range and still keeping and large SSD and a GTX590, if this is to much you could always get a 120GB SSD or drove from the i7 2600k to an i5 2500k or change to a GTX580. that is something your going to have to make up in your mind. if you want to change parts just let me know.

with changing the SSD and graphics card the these the prices will be $1777 without the aftermarket cooler, also if you wanted the large SSD just change the graphics card to the one below and price without aftermarket cooler is $1947
