Can I CrossFire with this mobo?

so the ASUS M4A87TD EVO has "two" PCIe 2.0 x16 Slots, and they have enough space in between so I can CrossFire. BUT on the page, it says "blue@ x16 mode, black@ x4 mode" does this mean that I can only use a 6870 on the blue one? or can I use both for a 6870?

Yes this supports crossfire. See the Asus product page... ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS M4A87TD EVO

If you crossfire two cards the speed on each PCI slot will drop to x8 on that board.

Asus' notes on using these PCI slots:

2 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots, support ATI CrossFireXâ„¢ technology at x8 link
(PCIe x16_1 blue, PCIe x16_2 black*)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot at max. x4 link(black)

Basically one card in the Blue slot will run at x16. One card in the Black slot will run at x4. Crossfire setup between both will run at x8 on each.

Rather than running at the speed of the slowest link, because the cards are connected via the CF bridge they will run at a medium between the two.
