cant get internet thru ethernet cable!

Oh.. that explains it. It's a new install of XP. You need to install all of the drivers... Take a look here for me please

Press Start, right click my computer and go to properties. Go to the hardware tab and click the Device Manager button. Are there any yellow question marks on that list? What do they say?

Yes there is a yellow Question mark, is on Other devices then i click it and it goes to Ethernet controller. So is this mean i have to update a driver from the link you gave me but witch one do I pick.

One of those three. Download and install the first one, then see if that yellow questionmark goes away in the Device Manager. If it doesn't, try the second. Then the third.
