Is it possible to separate how you hear sound on your PC?

I would like to hear ventrilo and games through my headset but be able to play music through my stereo sound system I have hooked up to my computer. Currently using the Audio and microphone port in the front for my headset and the sound hookups directly on the board in the back for my stereo system.

You can get splitters so you can have two headphones.

He means something else, say he wants to play one movie in Windows Media Player, and one movie in Media Player Classic. He wants to play the WMP movie in his headphones (through the front panel) and MPC movie through his speakers (back integrated audio port).
