nvidia optimus technology

Hi everybody,
I have a laptop and nvidia graphic card 310M with optimus technology* , so i want to ask that is there anyway i can put nvidia as permenant graphic card and just disable the IntelHD graphics , If YES then how?


* switches graphic cards at situations to save battery

i am not sure but can't you just right click on the desktop and choose something like "switch GPU" or something.
there should be an option to primary use the NVIDIA chip.
