Soundcard question

Hey, I have a question, I've recently gotten an old sound card out of a junked computer. I was wondering if it would be better than the current integrated sound I'm running. The card is a creative sound blaster live. Help me out?

Odds are, your integrated is better or there isn't any real difference.

I use the on board sound for mine. it supports 7.1, thou running 5.1. For me playing bad company 2, that good enough.

Alright, thanks. I'll put it in just to see how it sounds, I'll just try and guess if it sounds better.

Onboard audio has lately gotten a lot better. My X-Fi took a nose dive and I've had to use my onboard audio for the past month, and there's really nothing wrong with it for 90% of the things I do. Definitely more impressed with it than I have been in the past.
