Update:

I did the cardboard rebuild. Many of the standoffs were loose.

No dice. Still no video on start up with the 6850.

I wasn't able to find any of the BIOS settings that you mentioned.

Time for new MOBO?

Recommendations?

Currently have ASUS M3N78 PRO with Athlon 64 X2 6000+

Do you get any sort of POST code? Have you tried an old video card in the system?

Currently using a 9500 GT and it works flawlessly.

By post code do you mean a beep code? I don't get any video signal with the 6850 but it appears to boot up.

Yes, a beep code.

If your 9500 GT works flawlessly in the same system, it means your 6850 is the problem. RMA it.

It was RMA'd twice.

the 6850 works in my friends system.

The first RMA came back with no video and the company said it checked out. I complained and sent it back again so they sent me a new card that has the same problem.

I have no idea then. Have you tried all the different ports on the video card? Sometimes just one of them will be bad.
