Screen Issues and Booting

I just got a Dell computer with a cracked screen running Ubuntu 11.04. For now, I'm running it with an external monitor. However, I got a Windows 7 install disk and want to boot from that, but when I try to go into BIOS, it displays on the broken screen, so I can't use it to change the boot order. Any ideas on how to boot from the Windows disk or set the BIOS to display on the main screen?

Thanks, DD4235

When the laptop just been powered on, press F12 or F2 to get to the boot device selection menu.
Then select the CD boot.

If see nothing on the screen, try guess, mostly there are just a few options to select from.
Or visit Dell web site and enter your laptop model and search how the boot option menu will look like on the other working computer first.

hope this helps!
