I heard the XFX is cooler, therefore better for when he wants to crossfire it.

I don't have crysis, however I am able to max out WOW with my setup.

the HIS is warmer, but it runs just fine. It does play Crysis 2 on Max settings as well, along with anything else.

It'll be fine, the fan is at 35% when playing games.

I think I'll go with the dual fan version because I'll probably overclock it.

will overclocking a GPU reduce it's life time greatly?

Not really, if you are clocking it so it still stays cool, then there will be almost no difference in lifetime at all.

Yea, on some games Crossfire actually LOWERS fps.
