Hello,
New to the Forums as you can see, name is Jared. Anyway, my Rig has been freezing up and sometimes will refuse to even boot-up all the way. I though it might have been bad ram, so i went out and bought 2 DDR2 2 gig sticks, running with fours gigs aint all that bad. But the problem keeps popping up. I built the computer obviously for gaming. Perhaps someone, ANYONE can help me with this porblem. The CPU has been hitting 85.0 degrees F and about 29 to 30 degrees C. Using Windows 7 64 bit Prof. It dosnt even freeze up when im playing games, just freezes Randomly.

here are my specs::

Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M2N68-AM Plus Rev X.0x
2.40 gigahertz AMD Phenom 8750 Triple-Core
ATI Radeon HD 5770
4 gigs of DDR2
Wireless card...

Try reseat the HDD data cable on the mobo.

Run msconfig command at Run, then disselct all Startup apps. Reboot.

if the freeze problem fixed, select the option in msconfig one by one, reboot is needed for each opton select.

Hope this hepsl!
