Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB

TBH there are so many good brands to choose from at this price this is just an exapme

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA

Newegg.com - ASUS 24X DVD Burner

Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - Operating Systems

So even account for differences in prices in eupore you should be able to get something simalar.
Only reason I choose AMD is because of the newere cpus coming out soon, you can get a 6 core CPU now and then upgrade to the latest tech when it becomes available, Intel are still great but they will be changing sockets soon and not making any more CPUs for this particular socket, although the release of that has been delayed.
Im in the uk you cant get newegg stuff here either but it is a good reference on what to look for, Elara.ie seems to be running quite slow for me and has a real limtied selection, cant seem to find an amazon.ie is amazon.co.uk good enough?

Do you like spreading wrong information around the forums? Ivy-Bridge will use the current LGA 1155 socket.. SandyBridge-E is moving onto a new socket: 2011. Ivy Bridge (LGA 1155) will be out in Q2 2012, while the new SB-E (LGA 2011) will be out this year.

Also, why get a 6 six core and waste nearly $90 over a quad core if the main purpose would be to "get by" for a month?

Yeah that was my bad i got Sandy Bridge-E and and ivy bridge all muddled up.

Either way AM3+ will have support for AMDs top of the range cpus and knowing amd they will keep support for the socket alive for a good little while.

BTW the idea of the hex core was not to just get by for a month, that was just AMDs current top of the line that will be more than good enough for a good while and not need to upgrade until zambezi has dropped in price, if it was just to get by I would have chosen to go with Something like the athlon II.

Yeah that is the cpu, again it is out of stock.
A Chipset is a group of chips/ intergrated circuits etc that work together.
Here we are working with the 9xx series chipsets, the 970, 990x and 990fx. the 990x and 990fx allow for CF and SLI at least x8 by x8 whereas the the 970 one of the pci express slots runs at x4.
As for that selection of mobos i cant see the difference tbh they are all the same model number.
I think it may be best to go the intel route as there is quite a limited AM3+ Mobo selection to choose from, the z68 chipset is intels current enthusiast platform it will set you back around 50 euros more than than the p67 chipset but is designed to get the best out of sandy bridge and has some cool features but as a standard user you may not notcie the difference.

The I5 2500k which you will need if you are going to oc

http://www.elara.ie/productdetail.aspx?productcode=MME1355940

That is working out at around 350 euros for the cpu and mobo.

total now is about 810 euros with out shipping but there is no os including do you need a copy of windows?
If so search around for windows 7 home premium oem.
This is just matching your budget, or there abouts, with better ram, gpu, psu and mother board, obviously you can choose to compromise in some areas and get the price down. You may need to do this if you need a copy of windows as the oem versiion will prob set you back about a 100. The z68 chipset really isnt needed, here's a review on that specific mobo
