Has anyone here ever messed with RFID? I was thinking it'd be pretty awesome to slip an RFID tag into my phone and use it instead of a key on my electric bike, but I really don't know what I'd need.

I actually haven't played with one yet. I've thought about getting one, but I feel like I'd learn more using standard non-programmable ICs. And that's a neat project, but I was thinking something simpler, more along the lines of this. No idea how well it works, but it seems to be about what I need.

Really, intel? My CPU was 73C just sitting in the BIOS. After replacing the thermal paste, it's still 56C.
