This is a cheap build for a buddy at work. I just need to know if there is anything incompatible about the build....any feedback would be appreciated. I am trying to go as cheap as possible for him without using really low end stuff I guess.

your build seems compatible so far, you may want to put a graphics card as well since theres no onboard graphics.

The power supply needs to go. Do not buy that brand. If you are a good friend, you'll be good enough to recommend a power supply that wasn't put together by kids in an sweat shop.

Newegg.com - Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Is the minimum I would recommend for such a build (the brand and price combination, the wattage should be fine for that system)

You do others a great disservice when you buy $<=30 power supplies.

Other than that glaring fault, your build looks fine.
