Need help with Molex to 6-pin

Hi guys,

I have two gtx 570s which need 2 6-pins for each card.

My PSU, a Cooler Master 700W only has two 6-pins, which can only cover 1 GPU.

For my second GPU, I used two of these

How do I properly hook these up? Do I need to put two molex into the adapter? Or can I just use one? Am I better off using a SATA adapter?

I'm an intermediate PC user so I don't have much of a clue ;/

I would not suggest running 2 570's with that power supply. It's barely pushing it. I'm no expert on psu's but i would assume the fact there's not enough 6 pins in the first place for only 2 video cards is one reason you should upgrade to something better. I looked on google just now aw well and everyone says 750watt corsair psu's are pushing it, so i would assume yours to be in the same situation.

Can't help on the adapter, but just something i found on running those 2 cards. You could wait for some others advice if you want to be sure.

generally if your powersupply only has a pair of 6 pins then it was only built to work with one graphics card, like what krone6 has mentioned you'll be pushing it and you could face instabilty issues with power. your best bet is to get a psu that is supports SLI which will give more pins to work with.
