Build list any recomendations?

I've run an Antec Basiq BP500u and a friend has run his EA-500D both of these power supplies died within the year, his in less than 7 months. [...]

Huh, I'm surprised. Antec caught my attention years ago when I was checking out an old file server that hadn't been checked in years. The server was choked with dust, and the power supply fan had stopped due to wear and dust. The Antec power supply in the thing was so hot you couldn't touch it, but the server just kept running. That impressed me. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Your not sold on a Cooler Master Haf 912?....Wow... I give up, good luck with the build man.

Kinda like the antec little better. Looks like a better case, but considering it since the saving are huge. But if it was the Haf X it would be a different thing :p
