You need to ask them why they say wireless G sucks.
If your primary concern is access to the internet, then, unless you have internet bandwidth in excess of 54Mbps you probably aren't going to see any more speed from Wireless N. If you are transferring lots of files across your local network, then you might see a difference.
If you ask me, wireless in general is inferior to a wired network, but wireless is convenient if you like to use your notebook computer or iPod touch anywhere in the house.
