Strange temp reading on sleep awakening?

My CPU reports 100C after my computer wakes up from sleep. I usually idle at 35C and max out at 55C. I've noticed this every time I wake it up. Any suggestions? It's my signature computer. Thanks!

What software are you using to read temps? Different software has different glitches, take HWMonitor for example.

You can OC the 2600k to 5GHz on air cooling, so I doubt it's getting 100C at 3.4GHz unless you wrapped it in towels or something. lol

Sure enough, I'm using Speedfan and HWPro, both report 100C, but I opened my case and looked at the Mobo and it was reporting 30C. 5Ghz, I should try that :)

Speedfan's reading are all messed up.
I actually un-installed it like 4 days ago.
Told me my cpu was 128c, i was like w/e.
I have a windows 7 widget, telling me my cpu was 34c which is 100% correct.

I'll use that widget then, thanks!
