How to get Chromium OS

does anyone know how to get Chromium OS? I would love to run this on a VPC.

Google Chrome OS is not a conventional operating system that you can download or buy on a disc and install. As a consumer, the way you will get Google Chrome OS is by buying a Chromebook that has Google Chrome OS installed by the OEM. Google Chrome OS is being developed to run on new machines that are specially optimized for increased security and performance. We are working with manufacturers to develop reference hardware for Google Chrome OS. Chromebooks will be available for sale on June 15, 2011.

but this isn't Chrome OS as Google implements it, its Hexxeh's implantation of it. Am I right?

Hi,

According to How to install Google's Chrome OS, you can download the sourcecode and compile the OS from source, but if you want to just get a vm image you can use the Hexxah's images as they get compiled new everynight when the new version comes out with fixes and updates.
