Hello,
I have a hard drive with Windows XP Home on it. Trying to boot the PC off hard drive causes BSOD. Removing the hard drive and placing in an external shell so it can be used through usb also causes BSOD. Booting to something like Bart PE or ERD also causes BSOD. The funny thing is i was able to run a hard drive test on it and it past. I also ran an IDE diagnostics tool and it also passed again. Even if it was locked, I'd imagine it would still be able to boot normally as an external or secondary drive and be recognized by device manager. The operating system was also said to have been infected by malware. Anyone have any clues?
Thanks
Oli
