Does anyone have experience with preyproject.com? I was sitting at work the other day not doing much of anything and came across a CNN article talking about a MAC only software that was used for computer theft, so after searching found prey that seems to do the same thing.
My main concern though is the security issue of having a program like this installed. Since this program sends information out to a central control panel site, would there be a way for it to pull other information or inject stuff onto my computer if someone hacked their site, or would my Kaspersky firewall be going enough to keep that type of stuff out if it happened?
