Boot Problems in Windows Vista

My other computer (running Windows Vista) is seriously infected so I wanted to clear my hard drive and install Ubuntu. With the disk in, I opened bios and selected to boot from my CD drive but it still tried to start Windows from my c drive and failed.

Now every time I try to boot from any source Windows Boot Manager says
"File: windows/system32/drivers/qtuasai.sys
Status: 0xc00000e9
Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing or corrupt"

Last known config and safe mode bring me back to this error page.

Please help, I just want windows to leave!

Yea that's a serious infection. Is this a desktop? If so, unplug it from the wall and remove the BIOS battery for about 30 minutes. Then put the battery back in and boot from your CD.
