How do I activate all 6 cores

How do I activate all 6 cores on my AMD Phenom IIx6 1100T CPU? I have only 5 activated. It had 6 cores at one time, and out of the blue it went to 5. My clock speed is 3840 Mhz, 5 Core(s), mother board is the ASUS Crosshair IV

In the bios, under CPU features usually, turn core levelling to auto, or just turn it off, makes no odds really.

if that doesn't work, check MSCONFIG and see how many processors you're giving your OS to run off of.

Finally got all 6 cores running. I had to manually change it on the MB itself. don't know what happened all 6 were running after a software setup, then it went to 5.
