I recently got around 50 odd viruses on my PC and with wiping them my PC has pretty much gone mad...I thought a clean install of windows 7 would do the trick as previously it has done, but this time i tried to install windows, it cannot find my HDD the only hard drive it can find is my 1TB external and obviously i cannot install windows 7 onto that....I also bought a 300GB HDD brand new and was able to install windows 7 onto it via another PC, that HDD took windows 7 fine and was working on the other PC, but when i plug it into my PC it doesnt load up windows at all...i get a DOS message saying "Diskette file 0 missing" or something along those lines.....These HDD are both SATA...please if anyone could help it would be amazing as i am about to through this PC against a wall and then repeatedly jump on it.
