Cheers DarkSeeker. Right to the point i like that!

Just wondering instead of the CPU and motherboard. What system would be better if i used these two components instead?

Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 870 Socket AM3 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

Item: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz Socket AM3 8MB L3 Cache 125W Retail Boxed Processor

Well its down to preferences really, it's that old AMD Vs. Intel question really.

As far as i can see, both chips and boards are on the same 'page' if you will. Both quads, both 8MB Caches. the only difference really is the clock speed, which would be less in reality than it is on the box, due to factors like Frontside bus speed/hypertransport modes.

well, i personally think Intel have an edge with the Core i series. You get more for your money for AMD, but if you have the money may as well be Intel, since their CPUs seem to be more efficient to me, and the performance is just a little bit better.
