building a new rig for video editing

hey everyone,

I got a new HD camera and now realized my laptop struggles badly playing the clips. I want to build a new rig but I'm on a budget. from my research i found a few things i want but the part that confuses me are mother boards/fans/ and power supplies.

Heres what Im leaning towards...

amd phenom ii x6 1090t ( 6 core 3.2 ghz)
I need an NVIDIA Quadro card for avid. and I want to start with 4 gigs of ram and add more later...


a big thing for the motherboard would be upgradability, at some point i might want to upgrade the graphics or move onto an 8 core depending on the type of video editing that needs to be done... any suggestions?

Newegg.com - ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard this motherboard should be good enough for you, you kinda picked a difficult build going with a nvidia card with amd cpu but this supports dual cards running at x16 so you can only do 2 and you will be able to use the 1090t and its upgradeable to 16gb but you'll need 4x4gb
