all you gotta do is make sure whatever RAM and CPU combination you use don't end up bottlenecking the card. The 1100T is a good CPU choice and it would be very unlikely to create a bottleneck.
But you see what i mean, no point using a HD 6990 4GB GDDR5 with a Pentium Dual.

i wish to buy one of these and im shure the 6970 is dx11 and more future proof??
i just need a great gpu that will last for a few years on any game maxed out.
i have i7 950 and 6gb corsair ram so im not shure what is the bottleneck.

get 6950 reference version 2gb then you can unlock it to a 6970

It'll work fine. It really just depends on your usage, whether or not you need a card of that caliber.. Personally I think that card is way overkill, but it's up to you. If you have the money, then go for it, just make sure that you have a good, reliable PSU to back it up.

Hmm. It appears to be a good power supply, but I'm not familiar with the brand. Provided it's a reliable brand, you should have far more power than you'll ever use
