Wireless recieving wireless router?

sound funny. but i was wondering if there is a wireless router that i could connect to my neighbrs wireless and then use the wireless on my ps3.the signal just isnt strong enough.


router 1---> router 2----> ps3

I know it is possible, you just have to rebroadcast that signal then get your PS3 to connect to your wireless. I think its called a wireless mesh network

But make sure you have permission from your neighbour first to use his wireless

i have permission, that what im connected to now, but the signal isnt strong enough where i have my ps3 so i was wondering if i could put a wireless router closer to the his connection and then created a connection throughout my house.

how would i make a mesh network?

What you want is called a wireless range extender. Here's an example: Hawking HWREN1. I have no experience using one so I can't say how well they work.

looking at the range extender and how it works, that looks like that would work quite well. i dont have any experience using these but the description says it it all basically.
