I have a question
I Have a AMD Sempron 2800+ 2.00GHz
However in the control panel
Performance section
my 3d business and gaming graphics performance rating is 1.0 and my
Graphics for Desktop performance for Windows Aero is also 1.0
any advice for improvement ??

As far as your computer, you could upgrade the graphics, but I would personally leave them alone unless you're running into problems. If you do upgrade, expect to hit a bottleneck very quickly with that 2800+.

yes you will need to upgrade your graphics card, im guessing its an onboard graphics card?? Do you have a free external graphics card slot?? Do you need to upgrade the video card?? Do you use your computer for gaming??

I wouldn't upgrade your pc just based on your windows rating, really, that doesn't mean anything. I would only upgrade your graphics if it's not performing well for you in games and such, what do you do with your pc? No need to upgrade just for the sake of improving a windows rating.

1.0 system rating occurs when either:

A. you dont actually have a graphics processor at all or the drivers are not installed.

B. your GPU is extremely old.

Basically, it means you dont have the DX9 compliant 128mb gpu that Windows 7 wants you to have.
