Ok my comp is about 3-4 years old and i need upgrades these are my specs
OS:Windows xp home edition SP3
Motherboard: MSI K9N SLI Platinum nForce 570 SLI Chipset based
System Manufacturer: MSI

Processor:AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs)
Memory: 3072MB RAM

Iam not sure if i forgot anything and i might of repeated some stuff first time asking a forum for help and i really need it.
Now what i want to do is upgrade mainly i want to go from a Dual Core *which is what i am now* to a Quad core and to do that what all i have to replace..
i checked newegg and they have some combo packages like a processor + motherboard for like $150 iam not aiming to spend to much but iam just here to see what my options are and what all i would have to replace to get a quad core i guess any help would be great thanks
