cant boot my pc.

hi i tried to install windows 7 on my old pc. (5 year old) and to start with everything was ok installation was finished and everything was working but when i restarted my monitor would not switch on. i tested monitor on other pc and its working. would that be a grafix card or motherboard? thanks.

Try another monitor.
Maybe windows does not like it?

It is possible that the refresh rate isn't set correctly. Tap F8 on startup and choose "Enable VGA Mode" or boot into safe mode and manually set the monitor to a lower resolution & refresh rate. Alternatively you can go into MSCONFIG and set the check box for "base video" until you get a driver installed.

thanks guys for your help. i tryed different monitor like darroll mentioned and it worked .
