My wife has a Toshiba laptop which has the basic Windows 7 on it and the firm she does part time work all use windows professional 32bit.

The lap top has windows 7 pre-installed on it and I have got a brand new windows 7 professional 32bit and 64bit disks which I was going to use on my desk top but changed my mind and stusk wityh XP, Can I install them on the laptop?
Any help would be welcome

You also have the option of just running the upgrade option which will retain your files...

Doing a format as Darkseeker suggested is always the preferred option when you have the ability to get files off the Harddrive.
 
Thanks for the help and I have done the boot from the install disk, Custom install, Format C Drive and installed and everything is all OK.
