hi. i'm new here. i have searched and searched and can't find a solution to this. i have an acer aspire one zg5 netbook with 8gb ssd in it. the ssd is full. i want to install a 1.8 hdd. i bought a toshiba 40gb hd. model MK4009GAL. it has a zif cable from motherboard to the hd. when i start the laptop, my hd is not recognized in bios. where it says hdd model name it says none. the hdd serial number is blank. in the boot screen in bios, 1 is the usb cdrom to reload windows. 2)ide0 is blank and 3)ide1 is blank. i have 2 of these hd's and it will not recognize either of them. any suggestions?
