it might make them better known, but it's not going to enable them to make a comeback.

instead of AIM and aol email, people used Gmail and hotmail, facebook instead of IM etc. There is just way to much high end competition in every area they used to be good in.

They might get 'big' again, but never as widespread as they were in the 90s.

AIM is still the email I use, probably the best email service I used. Every time I hear AOL I think of my old dial up connection lmao, but no they are still there but not as big as they were
