Wondering a few compatibility things, video card, rendering, gaming, etc

I was offered the below computer for $370. I was wondering if it would work with the video card that I have currently, the nvidia geforce 7950. Sidequestion, what would be the best video card for video/photo rendering and video game performance. I'm not very familiar with compatibility of these things but I know it's a good deal.

Sapphire is apparently a good brand for video card. This is according to a senior forum member on the AMD Game forums
This here will probably be a good card
ATI Radeon
However I wouldnt consider putting it into a PC worth $370 :/
