I was just going to cut out my own window on my steel case. And I was wondering if the dremel would be the best thing to do so? Well i mean for something realistic. I could bring it to my old hs to laser cut it but thats to far away now. But if the dremel is the best bet, does anyone know what tip I should use for it?

Thanks

If you're good and agile with the dremel, then I'd suggest this way, if not, I'd laser-cut it. We have a modding section, so it'll be more appropriate for people to help you there :)

I like to use a metal nibbler to make cut outs in computer cases. They are inexpensive, and provided that you take your time, they can do a very clean job of making a cut out.

A nibbler would be both faster and easier to handle. If you are going to use a dremel, though, I'd recommend using this.

Got to be careful, though-- it'll chew through sheet steel pretty quick, but it is hard to control.
