I am using kaspersky 6.0 version but it is too difficult to update (using off line mode) for every time I have to be download entire virus database from Internet could you give a solution to this one.

A solution for what problem? If you're using off line mode then you really don't have a choice to get updates beyond what you are already doing. The only easier way would be to hook the computer up to the net and run regular updates.

Before getting started you must have Kaspersky installed on one machine having internet access, you will be getting the downloaded update files from this computer.

1. Right click on the Kaspersky application icon in taskbar tray and select Settings.
2. Then choose Update from the left menu bar.
3. Now From the right side select Settings button and go to Additional tab.
4. Check the checkbox Copy updates to folder.
5. Define a new output folder using Browse button.
6. Click OK to save settings.
7. Now run Update and it will copy the update database files in the folder you defined in Step 5.
8. Now copy all the files from the folder to a Removable drive or target computer you want to update.

Now to update targeted computer.

1. Right click on the Kaspersky application icon in taskbar tray and select Settings.
2. Then choose Update from the left menu bar.
3. Now From the right side select Settings button and make sure you are in Source tab.
4. Uncheck the checkbox Kaspersky Lab's update servers and click on Add link.
5. Browse the folder on local drive or removable drive containing the downloaded update database files, saved in previous step.
6. Click OK to save settings.
7. Run Update and that's it.
