As long as you keep humans in charge of the power grid we can just cut their power if the robots ever get too uppity and try to start running things or start mass producing themselves to form an army. Besides, we can't even build a copy machine that won't jam much less a robot that can maintain itself indefinitely.

People don't realize that Robots need a power source. Even if the become "self aware" there will always been an "off" switch or at least a power station that they will have to recharge...and if it is batteries we are talking about we can always take them out during the winter when batteries are not sufficient in. Infact they can loose 50% of their power just by dipping below "room temps".

Its the zombies you have to worry about. The only off switch is head shots.
