I've always been abit of an AMD Fan due to the price point, though after doing some research i think i may go with the i7 2600k. I've had my eye on AMD's graphics cards and havn't kept up with nVidia, what have they got that has a similar price point and performance as the 5850?

Nvidia doesn't really have anything that is the same price and performance of a 5850. The closest in performance would probably be a GTX 470, but it's like $70 more.

Right! So i might go with the GA-P67A-UD3R Mothernboard with the i7 2600k CPU and the Saphire 5850 1GB VaporX OC'd card. If i want more performance down the road, i can just add a second 5850.

That sounds good. I would look for a reference card though, since it'll be guaranteed to have voltage control.

well i just got a 20in Acer monitor from bestbuy for 100$, to bad it isnt the sane thing as my 22in screen but ill probably sell it and get two more of these, looks great for 100$

It's definitely worth it. This summer, I might get two more so I can have five. I want to look over my shoulder and see people coming up behind me.
