Assembly has begun!

Unfortunately, I discovered yet another oversight in my measurements. I forgot to correct for the thickness of the LCD on those rear/side pieces. Looks like I'll have to redo them.

LOL, or Teflon. I was actually going for the really old laptop look, but the texturing turned out to be a lot more coarse than I was expecting.

I finished the battery compartment.

It was extremely difficult to get those pieces lined up, but I think I did pretty well. There's one seam that I'm not happy with, but it's not that big a deal. I also finished the battery cover last night, but I wasn't very happy with the results, so I decided to start over on it.

I'm going to ask a little question.
I've been looking for a new battery for this lappie, but their quite weak (4400mah) I was wondering if i could take an identicle spec(voltage, amp,ect) battery from like a high preformance rc car, and soder it in, so i could replace the 4400mah with somthing like 8600mah, while having it in the same casing.

Once again looks awesome.
