Will this RAM work with my Gateway GT5408?

I'm just trying to do a little upgrade on my desktop, It's a Gateway GT5408, I'm new to rebuilding computers and all, so I figured I'd ask someone if these would work before I buy them.

Are you 100% sure? lol, I was just told that the gateway gt5408 will only use 512mb or 1gb cards.

your PC has 1024MB of DDR2 (240-pin) 533MHz SDRAM installed stock

it can take a maximum amount of RAM of 4096MB (4GB). SDRAM is restrict-less enough to pretty much allow most memory within its limits. Its only requirement will be that it is DDR2, runs at or lower than the bus speed, is dual channel, has 240 pins and isnt larger than 4GB.
