RAM with wires

I'm trying to upgrade an HP dv8000 laptop RAM from 512 to 1 or 2 GB...which Crucial.com says is possible. However, when I open up the computer, the memory card has 2 wires attached to the top of it. I have never seen this before.

I can't find a match on Crucial.com or Memory-up.com and wonder what is up with these two wires. Any ideas?

It's not RAM, it's most likely a wireless network card. The two wires are for the antennae. I'll bet one wire is black and the other is white.

Thank you cboucher. I think you are right...but it is located right I would expect the RAM to reside. Very strange. I'll keep looking

Problem solved. Next to the card I mistakenly thought was RAM there was another cover with 2 screws. Underneath I found 2 conventional 256 cards.
Thanks for your help.
